Engineering dreams से Kargil War duty तक: एक Fauji की सच्ची कहानी

इसी तरह, पलक्कड़ के शांत और हरे-भरे शहर में अरविंद नाम का एक युवक रहता था। बचपन से ही वह machines और engines में खोया रहता था। पुराने bicycles को fix करना, broken radios को खोलना, या family की पुरानी car engine को dissect करना, अरविंद के लिए यह सब सिर्फ शौक नहीं बल्कि passion था। उसका सपना था, एक दिन वह एक automobile engineer बने।

परिवार की expectations और सपनों की चुनौती

छोटे towns में traditions और practicality अक्सर सपनों पर भारी पड़ती हैं। अरविंद के पिता हमेशा उसे safe और structured future के लिए guide करते रहे। उनके लिए engineering, medicine या law ही “respectable careers” थे। उनका कहना था, “Arvind, तू engineer बन सकता है। लेकिन 17 साल के बाद, अपनी राह खुद बनानी होगी।”

अरविंद के लिए यह reality check था। उसने high school अच्छे marks के साथ complete किया था, लेकिन अब parents की financial support खत्म हो रही थी। उसका सपना automobile engineer बनने का था , जो लगभग impossible सा लग रहा था।

मलप्पुरम में नई शुरुआत और पहला job

मलप्पुरम जाकर उसने अपने uncle के guidance में एक local mechanical repair shop में part-time job शुरू की। शुरुआती दिनों में झाड़ू पोछा करना, tools लाना, और उनपर ध्यान रखना अरविंद ने hard work और dedication से सब कुछ सीखा। धीरे-धीरे shop owner Rajendhran ने उसकी potential देखी और उसे engine और machines repair करने का मौका दिया। उसने अपनी earnings से future studies के लिए money save किया।

एक unexpected opportunity: Indian Army की recruitment

एक दोपहर में, चाय पीते हुए newspaper पढ़ते हुए, उसकी नजर एक advertise पर पड़ी— “Indian Army recruiting young talents, especially with mechanical and engineering skills.”

अरविंद की आंखे चमक उठीं । यह मौका उसे अपनी technical skills use करने, नई learning हासिल करने और अपने country के लिए serve करने का अवसर दे रहा था। उसने army join करने का फैसला ले लिया ।

सपने से देश सेवा तक: Selection Process

Selection process rigorous था, physical tests, mental challenges, written exams। लेकिन determination और मेहनत ने उसे आगे बढ़ाया। उसके uncle, जो recently army से retired थे, ने उसके लिए books और study material arrange किया।

कुछ महीनों की preparation के बाद, अरविंद को official letter मिला:

“Mister Arvind, 

WE WOULD LIKE TO OFFER YOU TRAINING AND A CHANCE TO SERVE IN OUR MOTHER LAND ‘INDIA’. 

Please report to ARMY QUARTERS – VELLINGTON.”

अरविन्द की माँ ने उसे support किया, और पिता ने भी थोड़ी hesitation के बाद उसे आशीर्वाद दिया। अरविंद ने उत्साह और हिम्मत के साथ recruitment process complete किया। उसके mechanical skills और relentless determination ने उसे अपनी जगह बनाने में मदद की और वह 8th Madras Regiment में select हो गया।

Army Training: Discipline, Courage, और Teamwork की सीख

Training months physically और mentally challenging थे, लेकिन अरविंद ने कभी give up नहीं किया। Army ने उसे discipline, courage और teamwork की real-life lessons दीं। उसकी childhood mechanical knowledge अब army vehicles और equipment maintain करने में invaluable साबित हुई।

Kargil War में साहस और तकनीकी  कौशल

1999 में, जब Kargil War हुआ, अरविंद frontline पर deployed था। Harsh terrain, extreme weather और constant danger के बीच उसने अपने technical skills और bravery से कई ज़िंदगियाँ बचाईं। उसका dedication और courage उसे comrades और superiors दोनों का respect दिलाता रहा।

Village में Hero बनकर वापसी

अंततः, युद्ध के बाद, अरविंद अपने गांव लौट आया, एक hero बनकर ।
