What is IITM Pravartak's Finishing School Programme?

• An initiative by IIT Madras aimed at supporting startups in various fields.
• The program aims to enhance the job-readiness and employability of its participants through specialized training and support.
• To assist in bridging the gap between academic education and industry requirements, helping these wards to secure suitable employment.

Who Are Eligible?

• Engineering graduates who have completed their graduation within the last two years and are currently seeking employment.
• Specifically designed for the wards of Serving, Retired, and deceased Army personnel, with a special preference for the wards of deceased Army personnel.

How Does the IITM Pravartak’s Finishing School Programme Benefit Army Wards?

• The program focuses on training students in specific domain areas to enhance their employability, followed by providing placement assistance.
• Training will be conducted in-house at IITM PTF, IITM Research Park for three months, with a guaranteed minimum monthly stipend.
• A batch of 30 students will be trained in a hybrid mode, which includes 3-4 days of classroom sessions per week.
• Open to engineering graduates who have completed their degrees within the last two years.
• There is no fee for the wards of Defence personnel.
• Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from IITM Pravartak.

Accommodation Details

• Students must arrange their own accommodation, with assistance available from HQ Dakshin Bharat Area as needed.
• The start date for the program will be announced separately.
