Indian Army ने Launch किया 'Eklavya' Digital Platform For Officers' Training

Officers की training के लिए एक कदम digital transformation की ओर।

Indian Army ने अपने officers की training को और बेहतर और advanced बनाने के लिए एक शानदार कदम उठाया है। COAS (Chief of the Army Staff) General Upendra Dwivedi ने 28th November को 'Eklavya' online learning platform को launch किया। ये platform Army के "Decade of Transformation" vision और 2024 के "Year of Technology Absorption" के theme को perfectly match करता है।

क्या है Eklavya?

Eklavya एक ऐसा software platform है जिसे Headquarters Army Training Command के guidance में और Army War College की sponsorship में develop किया गया है। सबसे खास बात? इसे zero cost पर बनाया गया है! Thanks to "Bhaskaracharya National Institute of Space Applications and Geoinformatics" (BISAG-N), Gandhinagar और Directorate General of Information Systems की support।

Eklavya की खासियत

ये platform Army Data Network पर host है और इसका architecture काफी flexible और scalable है। मतलब? जितने चाहें training establishments को इससे जोड़ा जा सकता है। अभी तक 17 Category 'A' training establishments के 96 courses Eklavya पर host किए जा चुके हैं। Officers इन courses के लिए एक साथ registration भी कर सकते हैं।

तीन Categories के Courses

अब आते हैं courses की बात पर। यहां तीन categories के courses मिलते हैं:

Pre-Course Preparatory Capsules:
ये उन offline physical courses के लिए study material provide करते हैं, जो अलग-अलग training establishments में होते हैं। इससे physical courses में basics को कम करके ज्यादा advanced और practical चीजों पर focus किया जा सकेगा।

Appointment या Specific Assignment-Related Courses:
Officers जब किसी specialist appointment पर जाते हैं, जैसे information warfare या defence land management, तो उन्हें काम सीखने में थोड़ा वक्त लगता है। अब ये courses उन्हें पहले से prepare करेंगे ताकि वो तुरंत efficient हो जाएं।

Professional Development Suite:
इसमें Strategy, Leadership, Finance, Emerging Technology जैसे modern topics पर courses मिलते हैं।

Knowledge Highway की बात करें तो…

Eklavya में एक searchable "Knowledge Highway" भी है, जहां journals, research papers और articles एक ही जगह access किए जा सकते हैं। मतलब officers के लिए knowledge literally एक click दूर है!

Eklavya क्यों है खास?

यह platform न सिर्फ continuous learning को encourage करता है बल्कि existing physical courses को decongest भी करता है। Officers अब कहीं भी, कभी भी, अपनी convenience के हिसाब से courses ले सकते हैं। और हां, domain specialisation का फायदा तो है ही।

Indian Army का ये कदम साफ दिखाता है कि वो modernisation और technology-driven education को कितना seriously ले रहे हैं। Eklavya न सिर्फ officers को तैयार करेगा बल्कि Army के overall efficiency को भी boost करेगा।
