जब Army के boots, Navy के warships और Air Force के fighter jets एक साथ एक ही मिशन में तालमेल बिठाते हैं, तो दुश्मन के लिए बच निकलना नामुमकिन हो जाता है। यही है joint warfare की असली ताकत, जहाँ तीनों सेनाओं की individual शक्ति मिलकर एक super-powerful synergy में बदल जाती है।

Integrated Theatre Command (ITC) क्या है?

जैसा कि Part One में समझाया गया था, यह सिर्फ military reform नहीं, बल्कि 21वीं सदी के युद्ध क्षेत्र का game-changer है। और इस बदलाव का असर हमें साफ़ दिखा Operation Sindoor में, जहाँ ITC की ताकत ने ground पर इतिहास रच दिया।

हाल ही में Indian Armed Forces एक बड़े transformation से गुज़र रही हैं। Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan ने ITC framework में roles को clear किया है। इसमें theatre commanders और Service Chiefs की जिम्मेदारियाँ distinctly अलग हैं।

Theatre Commanders का primary focus होगा operational planning और execution, यानी ground पर लड़ाई की असली ज़िम्मेदारी। वहीं Service Chiefs की भूमिका होगी Raise, Train और Sustain (RTS) – यानी forces को तैयार करना, ट्रेन करना और sustain रखना। यह dual approach ensures करती है कि resources का maximum utilization होऔर decision-making तेज़ और effective बने। आइये इन roles को विस्तार से पढ़ते है। 

Roles का Clear Division

Theatre Commanders:

• एक theatre के भीतर Army, Navy और Air Force की operational control
   
• Real-time operations की planning और execution
   
• Logistics, air support, naval action और ground forces का coordination

Service Chiefs:

• Raise, Train और Sustain (RTS) पर focus
   
• Forces को trained और equipped रखना
   
• Theatre operations में direct interference न करके केवल support देना

इस clear division ने decision-making को तेज और operations कोज़्यादा efficient बना दिया।

क्यों ज़रूरी हैं Theatre Commands?

Multi-Domain Coordination:

तीनों सेनाओं की ताकत को एक command structure में integrate करना।

Quick Decision-Making:

Battlefield पर तुरंत और decisive action लेना।

Resource Optimization:

सीमित resources का maximum utilization।

Enhanced Preparedness:

Joint planning और training से हर समय battle-ready रहना।

Reforms का महत्व 

ITC reforms भारतीय सेनाओं को modern joint operations के लिए तैयार करने में backbone की तरह काम कर रहे हैं:

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) और Department of Military Affairs (DMA): 

Unified theatre-wise command और coordination

ISO Act, 2023: 

Theatre Commanders को legal authority

Joint Logistic Nodes (JLNs): 

Logistics efficiency और transparency

Tech Backbone: 

DCN (Defence Communication Network) और IACCS (Integrated Air Command and Control System) systems real-time operational coordination को support करते हैं (PIB.gov.in)

Operation Sindoor – ITC का Historic Test

Mission Overview (7–10 मई 2025, Pahalgam):

आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ launch हुए इस ऑपरेशन में ITC का unified structure game-changer साबित हुआ।

Execution Highlights

• IAF: SCALP missiles, HAMMER bombs और loitering munitions deploy किए।
   
• Army & Navy: भूमि और समुद्री निगरानी, logistics support ensure किया।
   
• Command & Control: IACCS और DCN systems ने real-time coordination किया।
   
• Outcome: केवल 25 मिनट में मिशन पूरा हुआ, 70–100 आतंकवादी neutralize।

Operation Sindoor ने साबित कर दिया कि ITC सिर्फ कागज़ी framework नहीं, बल्कि ground पर tested और successful model है।

ITC Reforms और भविष्य की तैयारी

Integrated Theatre Command reforms ने Indian Armed Forces को और ज़्यादा agile, integrated और tech-enabled बना दिया है। Operation Sindoor इसका सबसे बड़ा उदाहरण है कि कैसे Army, Navy और Air Force, synergy बनाकर भारत की रक्षा क्षमता को नई ऊँचाइयों तक ले जा रही हैं। भविष्य के हर mission में ITC reforms ही वह शक्ति होंगे, जो भारत को decisive edge देंगे।
